The term UI is the abbreviation for user interface. The role of the UI designer is to design a pleasant interface through which people come into contact with the product. This design professional takes part in initial discussions with the UX designer and the client to determine the client's expectations, communication objectives and the needs of the target user.
The UI designer uses his technical skills and creativity to design graphic models corresponding to the client's wishes. He is therefore responsible for the visual identity of his client and the aesthetic aspect of the interface. In particular, he chooses the colors, the typographical characters and may be asked to design the logo of the site or of his client. He is also in charge of the design of the navigation buttons and their layout.
The big challenge for the UI design, is to provide a logical design user experience between all the pages of the site. Indeed, no matter the relationship between pages, the user experience must be in a continuity throughout the site.
The mistake in UI design would be that the style and interactions change radically or even gradually between old and new content. Between expectations and needs, the user of the web service would be completely lost and risks misunderstanding UI.
